
Palak Paratha
Whole wheat flatbread kneaded with fresh spinach (palak) puree, ginger and green chilli, rolled thin and roasted on a tawa with oil or ghee. A nutritious, kid-friendly North Indian breakfast paratha served with raita and pickle.

Ingredients
- Water — 0.5 cup (whole)
- Ginger — 1 inch (chopped)
- Spinach (Palak) — 100 g (chopped)
- oil — 1 piece (roasted)
- Wheat Flour (Atta) — 2 cup (ground)
- green chillies — 1 piece (chopped)
Method
- firstly, prepare a dough by blending the palak (spinach) with a little water into a smooth puree, then use it to knead the wheat flour.
- further pinch a medium sized ball dough, roll and flatten it.
- also dust with some wheat flour.
- and roll it in a thin circle like chapathi or paratha.
- now on a hot tawa place the rolled paratha and cook for a minute.
- furthermore, when the base is partly cooked, flip and cook.
- also brush oil / ghee and press slightly.
- finally, serve palak paratha with raita and pickle.
