
Mylari Dosa
Famous soft thick dosa from Hotel Mylari Mysore. Spongy texture soaked in butter, served with spicy vegetable sagu.

- Dosa Batter (Classic) — 250 g (whole)
- Butter — 100 g (whole)
Tempering
- Coconut Oil — 2 tbsp (whole)
Method
- Use a well-fermented soft dosa batter (boiled rice, raw rice and urad dal) of slightly thick, pourable consistency.
- Heat a tawa on medium. Pour a ladle of batter and spread gently into a small thick round - do not spread too thin.
- Drizzle generous butter around and on top; cover and cook so the inside stays soft and spongy while the base browns.
- Fold the soft dosa and top with a pat of butter that melts in.
- Serve hot Mylari-style with onion sagu and hotel-style fried gram (hurigadale) chutney.
