
Rishi Panchami Bhaji

Ingredients
Garnish
- Coriander Leaves (optional) (garnish) — 2 tbsp (chopped)
Main
- green chillies — 2 piece (chopped)
- Ginger — 0.5 tsp (grated)
- salt (optional) (whole)
- Water — 0.5 cup (whole)
Tempering
- oil — 2 tbsp (whole)
- Cumin Seeds — 1 tsp (whole)
Method
- Wash the vegetables and herbs well, finely chop the green chilli and ginger, and keep everything ready.
- Heat the oil in a kadai on medium flame.
- Add the cumin seeds and let them splutter for a few seconds.
- Add the chopped ginger and green chilli, and saute for a minute till the raw smell goes away.
- Pour in the water, add salt to taste, and bring it to a gentle simmer.
- Cover and cook on low flame for 8-10 minutes, stirring occasionally, till most of the water dries up and the bhaji reaches a dry consistency.
- Turn off the flame, garnish with freshly chopped coriander leaves and serve warm.
