
Paneer Pakora

- Coriander Leaves (optional) (garnish) — 2 tbsp (chopped)

- Turmeric Powder — 1.5 g (ground)
- Paneer — 250 g (whole)
- Gram Flour — 100 g (ground)
- Rice Flour — 20 g (ground)
- Red Chilli Powder (Lal Mirch) — 3 g (ground)

Tempering
Method
- Cut paneer into thick slices or cubes and set aside.
- In a bowl, mix gram flour (besan), rice flour, red chilli powder, turmeric and salt.
- Add water little by little and whisk into a smooth, lump-free batter of medium-thick coating consistency.
- Heat oil in a deep kadhai on medium flame until hot.
- Dip each paneer piece in the batter to coat fully, then slide into the hot oil.
- Fry in batches, turning, until golden and crisp. Drain on paper towels.
- Garnish with coriander and serve hot with green chutney and chai.
