- Paneer — 250 g (whole)
Tempering
Method
- Cut the paneer into thick finger-sized pieces or cubes and keep aside.
- In a bowl, mix the gram flour with a little water, add salt, and whisk to a smooth, thick batter with no lumps.
- Dip each piece of paneer into the batter, coating it well on all sides.
- Heat the oil in a kadai on medium-high flame for deep frying.
- Slide the batter-coated paneer pieces gently into the hot oil and fry until golden and crisp on all sides, turning occasionally.
- Remove with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels to remove extra oil.
- Garnish with chopped coriander leaves and serve hot with chutney or ketchup.
