- Coriander Leaves (optional) (garnish) — 2 tbsp (chopped)

- Potato — 100 g (chopped)
- green chillies — 250 g (chopped)
- Gram Flour — 1 cup (ground)
- salt (optional) (whole)
Tempering
Method
- Wash the large green bajji chillies, slit each lengthwise on one side keeping the stem intact, and scrape out the seeds.
- Boil the potato until soft, peel and mash it; mix with salt and chopped coriander leaves to make the stuffing. Stuff each slit chilli generously with this mashed potato mixture.
- In a separate bowl, make a thick coating batter with gram flour, salt and water.
- Heat oil in a deep kadhai on medium flame. Dip each stuffed chilli into the batter, coat well, and deep-fry until golden brown and crisp on all sides.
- Drain on paper towels and serve hot with green chutney and chai.
