- Lemon — 20 g (whole)

- Turmeric Powder — 1.5 g (ground)
- chicken — 800 g (chopped)
- Curd — 100 g (whole)
- Ginger — 15 g (chopped)
- Garlic — 15 g (chopped)
- Red Chilli Powder (Lal Mirch) — 4 g (ground)
- garam masala powder — 3 g (ground)
Tempering
Method
- Make deep cuts on the chicken drumsticks so the marinade penetrates well.
- Whisk curd with ginger, garlic, red chilli powder, garam masala, turmeric, lemon juice and salt into a smooth marinade; coat the drumsticks thoroughly.
- Cover and marinate in the refrigerator for at least 4-8 hours, overnight for best flavour.
- Skewer or arrange the drumsticks and grill over charcoal or in a preheated tandoor/oven at 200 degrees C for 18-20 minutes, turning and basting with oil, until charred outside and cooked through.
- Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot with lemon wedges and green chutney.
