- Gram Flour — 1 cup (ground)
- salt (optional) — 4.5 to_taste (whole)
Tempering
- Coconut Oil — 2 tbsp (whole)
Method
- Whisk gram flour with a little salt and water into a thick, smooth coating batter.
- Heat coconut oil in a deep kadhai on medium flame.
- Dip bite-size pieces into the gram flour batter, coating fully.
- Fry in batches until golden brown and crisp; drain on paper towels.
- Serve hot with chutney, garnished with chopped coriander leaves.
