- Coconut — 100 g (chopped)

Tempering
- Curry Leaves — 8 piece (ground)
- Urad Dal — 1 tsp (whole)
- Mustard Seeds (Black) — 1 tsp (whole)
- Coconut Oil — 2 tbsp (whole)
Method
- Heat the coconut oil in a kadhai over medium flame.
- Add the mustard seeds and urad dal; let the mustard splutter and the urad dal turn golden, then add the curry leaves and let them crisp.
- Add the freshly grated coconut along with salt and stir to coat it evenly in the tempering.
- Roast on medium-low flame, stirring often, for 5-6 minutes until the coconut turns light golden and fragrant.
- Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot as a side.
