Aluchi Bhaji Colocasia Leaves Curry
Maharashtrian aluchi bhaji — colocasia leaves (arbi/alu) cooked with chana dal, dry coconut, tamarind, jaggery and a Maharashtrian goda masala or kala masala spice mix. The signature combination of sour tamarind, sweet jaggery and earthy colocasia gives this dish its distinctive Maharashtrian khatta-meetha character. Best with bhakri or steamed rice.
