
Fish Cutlet

Ingredients
Garnish
- Coriander Leaves (optional) (garnish) — 2 tbsp (chopped)
Main
- wheat bread crumbs — 0.5 cup
- boiled eggs — 100 g (whole)
- fish — 250 g (chopped)
- salt (optional) (whole)
- Potato — 100 g (chopped)
- Gram Flour — 4 tsp (ground)
Tempering
- Coconut Oil — 2 tbsp (whole)
Method
- Boil and flake the fish. Boil and mash the potato. Finely chop the boiled eggs.
- Combine the flaked fish, mashed potato, chopped boiled egg, coriander leaves, and salt in a bowl. Bind with a little gram flour paste.
- Shape the mixture into small oval or round patties.
- Dip each patty in a thin gram-flour batter, then roll in breadcrumbs to coat evenly.
- Heat coconut oil in a kadhai on medium flame. Shallow-fry the cutlets in batches until golden brown and crisp on both sides.
- Drain on paper towels. Serve hot with chutney.
