Minced mutton and potato cutlets with boiled egg pieces, coated in breadcrumbs and shallow-fried. Anglo-Indian party snack.

Ingredients
Garnish
- Coriander Leaves (optional) (garnish) — 2 tbsp (chopped)
Main
- Potato — 100 g (chopped)
- boiled eggs — 100 g (whole)
- wheat bread crumbs — 0.5 cup
- salt (optional) (whole)
- Mutton — 100 g (chopped)
- Gram Flour — 4 tsp (ground)
Tempering
- Coconut Oil — 2 tbsp (whole)
Method
- Cook the minced mutton until tender. Boil and mash the potato. Finely chop the boiled eggs.
- Mix the cooked mutton mince, mashed potato, chopped egg, coriander leaves, and salt into a firm mixture, binding with a little gram flour paste.
- Shape the mixture into oval cutlets.
- Dip each cutlet in a thin gram-flour batter, then coat evenly with breadcrumbs.
- Heat coconut oil in a kadhai on medium flame. Shallow-fry the cutlets in batches until golden and crisp.
- Drain on paper towels. Serve hot with chutney.
