- Coriander Leaves (optional) (garnish) — 2 tbsp (chopped)
Main
- Coconut — 100 g (chopped)
- Turmeric Powder — 100 g (ground)
- fish — 100 g (chopped)
- salt (optional) (whole)
Tempering
- Curry Leaves — 8 piece (ground)
- Mustard Seeds (Black) — 1 tsp (whole)
- Urad Dal — 1 tsp (whole)
- Coconut Oil — 2 tbsp (whole)
Method
- Wash and prepare all ingredients for Kerala Sardine Fry. Chop vegetables, marinate protein if needed.
- Heat oil in a pan. Add cumin/mustard seeds for tempering.
- Add the main ingredient. Season with turmeric, salt, and spices.
- Stir fry on medium flame until cooked through and slightly crispy.
- Adjust salt and spices. Garnish with fresh coriander leaves. Serve hot.
