- sugar — 100 g (whole)
- salt (optional) (whole)
- Wheat Flour (Atta) — 250 g (ground)
- Ghee — 100 g (whole)
Method
- Heat ghee in a heavy-bottomed pan on low flame.
- Add the wheat flour (atta) and roast continuously on low-medium flame for 12-15 minutes until it turns golden brown and releases a rich, nutty aroma.
- Turn off the heat and let the roasted flour cool slightly.
- Add the sugar and cardamom powder; mix thoroughly until well combined.
- While still warm, take small portions and shape into round laddus, pressing firmly so they hold together.
- Let the laddus cool completely and set before storing.
